Foambyte Is Working on IoT Device Integration for Real-Time Fermentation Tracking

Diego Santiago
Foambyte founder with IoT Device

At Foambyte, we are currently working on the integration of IoT devices to support real-time readings of temperature and gravity during fermentation and maturation.

We are now testing different workflows to ensure the best possible user experience, starting with proven devices such as the TILT Hydrometer.

We believe this is an important step for brewers because fermentation is one of the most delicate and critical stages of the production process. Having continuous visibility into temperature and gravity allows brewers to better understand how their batch is evolving, identify key changes, and make more informed decisions at the right time.

By connecting these readings directly to Foambyte batches, users will be able to monitor fermentation data in a more accurate, organized, and intuitive way. This will help improve process control, support better fermentation profile management, and provide valuable insights for any style being produced, whether it is beer or any other fermented beverage.

In addition, these readings will be connected to our Cold Side Tank View, allowing users to visualize fermentation and maturation activity across different tanks in a clear, friendly, and easy-to-read interface.

IoT integrations will be part of our upcoming Foambyte Plus plan. However, we also understand that not every brewer uses connected devices, so Foambyte will continue to support manual data entry for temperature and gravity readings.

Even with manual input, Foambyte will help graph your data, organize your batch history, and provide relevant alerts when needed.

Our goal is simple: to give brewers better visibility, better data, and better tools to control their fermentation process without making their workflow more complicated.

Thank you for being part of Foambyte’s journey.
