Foambyte is brewing software designed to help beverage producers create recipes, track batches, manage brewing profiles, and keep production information organized.
Who is Foambyte for?
Foambyte is built for homebrewers, nano breweries, and small beverage producers who want better control of their recipes and production without complicated software.
What beverages can I create in Foambyte?
Foambyte currently supports beer, cider, and mead production.
What can I do with the Free Plan?
The Free Plan includes Recipe Studio, brewing profiles, tools and calculators, and batch tracking from planning through carbonation. You can create up to 100 recipes and track up to 5 batches.
What happens when I reach the five-batch limit?
You can delete a completed or terminated batch to create a new one, or upgrade to the Plus Plan when it becomes available.
Can I calculate the cost of my recipes and batches?
Yes. Foambyte helps you estimate recipe ingredient costs and follow production costs as your batch progresses.
What brewing profiles can I create?
You can configure Brewhouse System, Brew Cycle, Water, and Carbonation profiles. These settings make recipe creation and batch planning faster and more consistent.
Can I record fermentation readings and process additions?
Yes. You can log gravity, temperature, pH, CO₂ pressure, and other production readings. You can also record ingredient additions and notes throughout the batch.
Does Foambyte include BJCP style guidelines?
Yes. Recipe Studio includes the 2021 BJCP Style Guidelines to help you compare your recipe specifications with recognized beer-style ranges.
Do I need to install any software?
No. Foambyte is a web-based platform that you can access through your browser from a computer, tablet, or mobile device.
What will be included in the Plus Plan?
The Plus Plan is being developed to include Ingredients Inventory, Tank View with simple CIP management, IoT device integration, and expanded production management capabilities.
What languages are available?
Foambyte is designed for an international brewing community and is available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Can I use Foambyte for a commercial brewery?
Yes. Foambyte is especially suited to nano breweries and small producers that need a straightforward way to organize recipes, batches, tanks, and production information.
